Up at Night Comedy is now a proud owner of a Canon EOS 6D

After months of saving up work money, 21st birthday money, and holiday gift money; I was finally able to purchase from Amazon a Canon 6D with a 24-105mm f4 L lens. I'm ecstatic to finally have a full-frame camera (and L lens) on my hands.
I've only had the 6D for a couple of days now and I'm already in love. Over the past two and half years, I've been shooting mostly with a Canon Rebel T3i with mediocre lenses. I can't complain and say the T3i never did its justice in performing its duties (it's a great camera, especially considering its crazy low price). The Canon 6D just wins by far when it comes to performance superiority.
Some of my favorite qualities of the Canon 6D comes with the camera's video function (...of course). With the 6D, you can choose to shoot in either low compressed (All-I) or high compressed (IPB) video. Shooting in low compressed video is a huge plus when it comes to post-production work. The 6D is also a full-frame camera with huge exposure latitude, great color space, impressive ISO ranges with unseeable noise, and a list of other  impressive features/specs. I'm crazy excited to start shooting some new Up at Night Comedy digital shorts with it.

Season Three of Check It Out! with Dr. Steve Brule

3/15/2014

Dr. Steve Brule continues to bring tears to my eyes. So far, season three of Check It Out! with Dr. Steve Brule has been absolutely hilarious. John C. Reilly continues to show how much of a diverse actor he really is. His career started out with him playing more serious roles, but Reilly's funny side has been showing much more over these past few years...And I love it. I hope John never stops producing with Tim and Eric.  I'm looking forward to the last three episodes of Check It Out! season three to air. The first three episodes of this season seemed to be a slight more darker than the first two seasons, and I wonder if that trend will continue. CHECK OUT Check It Out! with Steve Brule on the Adult Swim website.
