Featured above is one of my favorite Mr. Show skits of all time. 
Mr.Show also happens to be one of my favorite sketch comedy series of all time. I really think they had some of the best comedy segues of all time. Bob Odenkirk and David Cross are some of my biggest inspirations. Not only do I admire their comedy, but I really appreciate their producing abilities, especially when it comes to Bob. 
These two absolutely kill it in the video above, "Fuzz the Musical." David Cross's solo and Bob Odenkirk's "I Am A Camera" brings me to tears every time. 

It's Thursday, so here is another edition of a "throwback thursday" video from Up at Night Comedy. During the summer of 2008, after my freshman year of high school, my beloved TV show Late Night with Conan O'Brien held a contest to see which Late Night fans could make the best commercials for the show. Being the eager Conan fan and amateur comedy video creator that I already was, I HAD to enter the contest. So the next day after Conan announced the contest on the show, I invited over my friend Chris, and I forced him and my brother and sister to be in the video entry. We ended up shooting the whole thing in my messy basement. In the video, I also attempted to do my most exaggerated impression of Conan (mimicking Conan's leperchaun and self-depricating impression that he used to do of himself on the show). After I emailed my DVD copy to 30 Rock, I never heard back from the Late Night staff (not surprising haha). I wish I would have put a little more effort into the commercial, but then again I was only 15 years old haha. One of the best things that came out of this video was that one of the actual guys that made air twice on Conan from the contest messaged me on YouTube and told me how he really enjoyed my effort and sense of humor. Nice guy.
